You Are Mine

"You Are Mine"
A poem by: Joshua Garner

To, ( lover ) my baby;
You are mine and it feels soo good inside
You are mine; every can't and every could be right!

Every plant and every wood;
Every day light and every night
You are mine!

When Autumn turns into fall, when we argue; if at all
You are mine!

Mine to keep and mine to tease
Mine to cry on, mine to bond with
When left became right
You became my life
You are mine!

You are mine!
Mine to hold, mind to open and never to fold
My mind constantly thinks about you; in dreams and in musical beats.
You are my note!
You are mine and mine alone!

I'm your front, if you're  my behind
I'll  be your honey bee, if you'll be my hive
To hold, to cherish; together
Till we both leave with world in a chariotte
You are mine, forever!

My mission was to get her; for myself and only I
My wish was to be with her
Forever; together

I never would have thought
I'd be happy like I am
And if not, she'll be there to cheer me up!
Sand in toes, and hand-in-hand

We match cause we're admirers
I have been since I've layed my eyes on her
She had me at her eyes
Then her smile turned to beauty that quickly rose immensely
Arise; I have done so
A walk has turned to a run slow
A talk became a hug
And a kiss made me in love!

My mission was to get her
For myself and only I
My wish was to be with her
Forever; together

Forever; you are mine!

Crack The Code

"Crack The Code"
A poem by: Joshua Garner

Cracking a combination is like trying to find your perfect match, your soul-mate, or as of a needle in a hay-stack; nearly impossible.

Without knowing the code, you don't know the length of the road ahead; you and that person walk together on. Could love ever be possible?

Hand-in-hand and foot-by-foot; all around you there's junkies, druggies and addicts of all kind of sorts.

Or you two, too have steps of stress, argumental messes, chaos like everyone else in this world; uppers and downers.
Your voice speaks but your walk is more audible.

Not being in your right mind; the verge of being high or just not being sober, comes into effect.

Then you'll  find that taking drugs puts you in a free-feeling mind-set... not in your sober estate.

You go from left-minded to high-minded in a matter of seconds. Uncontrollably controlled...thinking it's the right thing to do, to be in your right-mind... but you're up up up!

'A', there's got to 'B', another way to 'C' the real set of mind in which one can think on a positive note.

But just wait for that negative tension; when all hell breaks loose and you just get the right amount of "screw off" from somebody.

With no ups and no downs, you snap like fingers at a Poetry Jam
Like a jacket snapping back into place

Why the hell do some people just get so heated?
With all the intensity that; that specific person, in turn is cold?

Verbal aggression; being kind-hearted doesn't always mean that person won't have reasons, as well as guts to get revenge!

Right, wrong; yes, no
All decisions in which goes both ways
Like bisexuality; an un-made-up mind
Lukewarm; in between, "love and war"
A-n-d; fresh ink, no worries, no infection, no need for protection.
They've got each others backs

If you were stabbed, leaving you with a deep gash and a load of pain:

Incaved, concaved; in, out; back, forth; likes, dislikes; side-to-side, side-by-side; this way, that way; your way, my way
But the world's axis will still continue to cycle, with or without you.

But again and again and again, your "freedom of speach" is under abiding law
Anti-government or not; still a law-abiding citizen
Psychological, bi-polarized, two-faced, hypocritical, egotistically counter-balanced ball of mud.
Nothing without love.

What are you constantly thinking?
Brought together by attraction; south and north
Taken apart by disagreements; spoons and forks
Your absence from society doesn't bother any entity in any way, shape or form
You live you die!
You're no spokesman!
You're unspoken and speachless; breathless, helpless.
Old me; you're dead to me!

'Crack The Code' by leaving yourself; or who you thought you were.
I've cracked the code!

To Change The Past

"To Change The Past"
A poem by: Joshua Garner

'To Change The Past' you've got to change your future path
I decide to wing it, and unconsciously I dream it
The future transforms from the past; as time passes
A couple days to a week
A few weeks to a month
12 months to a year to be exact

Time flies by; life is not always clear
Made from matter; but the fact is:

We must fight for love!
To find; nothing but finding love, matters

My plans are full-proof; a straight clean shot
But the second I take off this bullet-proof vest
I could go down, with one straight clean shot, as well

Rather to beg; I choose for my time to end in dead; rightfully
If I can't  save my heart-beat; at least I'll have saved my breath
If this world has nothing left for me
I will go and have lived my best

Let My Voice Be Heard

"Let My Voice Be Heard"
A poem by: Joshua Garner

Take a walk in my shoes
Use this poem to escape your mood
Tear a page from MY book
But if your intensions are to have my literature burned; so be it!
But don't  let your back be turned

Guard these words with your life
For your next move determines your future
Under dark, hidden, shaded trees
Or in the brightest of lights
'Let My Voice Be Heard'

From days, through nights
'Let My Voice be heard
Even if unseen and out of sight

With Truth Comes Lies

"With Truth Comes Lies"
A poem by: Joshua Garner

Do you sense the direction, that 'With Truth Comes Lies'?
What am I thinking?
Why am I thinkning it?
When something comes to ease my mind
I just prop up on a stump and occassionally find; my place in this open field of a life
As I yell to myself, as these lips begin to quiver; I bite them
As I nervously bite my nails and try to fight the aching pain; I hide it
Why am I so lonely in this land of lost souls, waiting to be found?

I am red in this bed of roses
Hurting in this bed of thorns
Grey in these clouds of mourn
And for all those years people have worn me down; I feel used
Like a shirt passed down the line
'With Truth Comes Lies'

For a lie is the farthest thing from ever becoming wise
It's time for a change in this life
Mark my words as I stand on this earth
I stand for what is right; out of hiding
Behind my cares I've kept held inside
'With Truth Comes Lies'

Think Twice

"Think Twice"
A poem by: Joshua Garner

If you wait long enough, something will happen
If you practice, you will make perfect
If dreams can become reality, follow your heart
If love works hand-in-hand with passion and joy with happiness, is a heartbeat a form of compassion?
A spell a form of companionship in the making of fashion
If you 'Think Twice' you will begin to imagine
If hate is irrational, then is pay-back a form of rations?
Like Jews in hiding from German Nazis?
If a tragic is death, then is life just a never-ending bet?

Maybe next time you'll 'Think Twice' before you say you'll live to die rather than fighting for dear life to live a death you hadn't  thought twice to live

Between Love And War

"Between Love And War"
A poem by: Joshua Garner

The word "and,"
'Between Love And War'
Could mean a number of things; with multiple meanings
One could say they are 'for' love and against war
One could be heart broken to the rotten core and love war
I personally see eye to eye
'Between Love And War'

I've loved, I've  been loved
I've been lost and I've been found
Yet, I  will always find love, or love will fond me
And as for war, my enemies come closest to mind
Not necessarily with a need to watch my back, but to watch my country
I wear two kinds of suits in this world
'Between Love And War'
